Welcome to Golden Stem Murals ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website, requesting a quote, booking services, or engaging us for a mural project, you agree to these Terms of Service as well as our Privacy Policy.

1. Services

Golden Stem Murals provides custom mural design and painting services for residential, commercial, and specialty projects. Every mural is custom-created and no two projects are identical.

All projects are subject to availability, consultation, and written approval.

2. Estimates

Quotes are based on information provided during the consultation process, including:

Wall dimensions

Surface condition

Design complexity

Accessibility

Travel requirements

Timeline

If project conditions change after an estimate is provided, pricing may be adjusted accordingly.

3. Booking

Projects are not reserved until:

A proposal has been accepted;

Any required deposit has been received; and

Both parties have agreed to the project scope.

Until these requirements are met, requested dates remain available to other clients.

4. Custom Artwork

Every mural is an original work of art.

Reasonable design revisions are included during the planning phase. Once the design has been approved and painting has begun, substantial design changes may require additional fees and may extend the project timeline.

5. Payments

Payment schedules are outlined within each project proposal or contract.

Unless otherwise stated:

Deposits are non-refundable once design work has begun.

Final payment is due upon project completion.

Golden Stem Murals reserves the right to pause or withhold delivery of completed work until all outstanding balances have been paid.

6. Project Timeline

Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

Completion dates may be affected by:

Weather

Surface preparation

Material availability

Client-requested revisions

Site accessibility

Illness or emergencies

Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Provide safe and reasonable access to the project area.

Remove furniture, décor, and valuables unless otherwise agreed.

Ensure walls are structurally sound and suitable for painting.

Provide access to electricity, lighting, and restroom facilities when reasonably necessary.

Secure any required permissions from landlords, HOAs, or property owners before work begins.

Golden Stem Murals is not responsible for delays resulting from site conditions outside our control.

8. Wall Conditions

Existing wall defects, moisture issues, peeling paint, drywall damage, texture variations, or structural movement may affect the appearance and longevity of the mural.

Unless specifically included in the proposal, wall repair, drywall work, and extensive surface preparation are not included.

9. Intellectual Property

Golden Stem Murals retains all copyrights and intellectual property rights to original artwork unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients receive ownership of the physical mural upon full payment but may not reproduce, license, sell, or commercially reproduce the artwork without written permission.

10. Photography

Unless otherwise requested in writing, Golden Stem Murals may photograph completed projects for portfolios, social media, marketing materials, competitions, educational purposes, and promotional use.

Client privacy will always be respected.

11. Cancellations

If a project is cancelled after design work has begun, deposits are generally non-refundable due to time already invested.

If cancellation occurs after materials have been purchased, the client may also be responsible for unrecoverable material costs.

12. Warranty

Golden Stem Murals warrants workmanship at the time of completion.

Normal wear, water damage, structural movement, direct impact, vandalism, improper cleaning, environmental conditions, or alterations made by others are not covered.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golden Stem Murals shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the project.

14. Website Content

All artwork, photographs, logos, designs, written content, and branding displayed on this website remain the property of Golden Stem Murals unless otherwise noted.

Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Changes to These Terms

Golden Stem Murals may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
